Katie Bus I am a second-year masters student in the Interdepartmental Graduate Program in Nutritional Sciences (IGPNS). Originally from the East Coast, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Upstate New York. During my time there, I became a vegetarian and incorporated more healthy lifestyle practices into my life. After two years out in the working world, I determined health promotion was passion and came to ISU to earn my Master's degree with a focus in Health Promotion. I am so excited to hear how you lead a healthy life and help you in areas that might need a little work!

Karissa Peyer I am a third-year doctoral student in the Department of Kinesiology. My focus is Physical Activity and Health Promotion. In addition to classwork and research, I teach a course for undergraduate students about Worksite Health Programming. Before coming to Iowa State, I worked as an Exercise Physiologist in a pediatric fitness clinic where I counseled families on ways to incorporate more physical activity into their lives. I love helping people add healthier habits to their lifestyle and am excited to help, as well as learn from, new Health Coach participants. In my free time I enjoy training for and racing road races and triathlons and love watching Packer football!
