BSDI Company Registration
The Wellness Works program has access to use the BSDI software and associated Motivational Alliance suite of tools for educational/research applications in collaboration with local companies. However, the service is only available to companies willing to comply with the terms of this Participatory Research Agreement.
What is BSDI and Motivational Alliance?
The Motivation Alliance is a suite of wellness programming tools designed to help support worksite wellness programming. It provides individuals with a personalized login and resources designed to assist in planning and monitoring an exercise program. When launched through worksites it is possible to set up group challenges and to produce aggregate reports of participation over time. Some specific features of the Motivation Alliance tool are highlighted below:
· Self-recording and tracking of personal health information through Health Risk Appraisals
· Personalized goal setting tools
· Behavioral challenges and personalized tracking
· Team challenges
· Aggregate reporting for worksite incentives and promotions
How Does the BSDI Collaboration Work?
The BSDI Project is coordinated through our departmental outreach program by a team of graduate and undergraduate students working through the Wellness Works program. The goal of the project is to provide opportunities for students to learn about worksite wellness programming while directly serving local companies. We hope to provide continued access to the tool over time but this is contingent on interest and on our ability to cover the annual fees and on having students enrolled in the programming. We look forward to working with area companies to promote employee fitness. Companies must voluntarily enroll in the program by having a representative complete a registration form (see below). Once registered, the company representative would be provided with information to distribute internally to employees (through flyers, newsletters or internal communications). Interested employees would complete the registration process and be provided with access by the Wellness Works team.
