Emily Samman (pronouns: she/her)

I am studying kinesiology and health with a minor in gerontology and an emphasis in pre-physical therapy. My goal is to work in a rehab nursing home facility or hospital setting - predominantly with the older adult population as a geriatric physical therapist. I have a true belief and passion in the power of movement as medicine to give individuals their highest quality of life no matter the life stage they are in. I have 2 sisters who are my best friends and I enjoy spending time reading, hanging with roommates, and jamming out to my latest Spotify playlists!"

 Jace Leininger

I am a Kinesiology and Health major with a premedical emphasis. My goal is to be admitted into medical school after graduation from ISU. I plan to keep my options open, but my preliminary interest is in pediatrics. I am a YSS volunteer for a special education after-school program, and serve as the President of the Exercise is Medicine at ISU student organization on campus. I am a Tau Kappa Epsilon academic team leader, an ISU tutor, and a Certified Nursing Assistant. I enjoy weightlifting, running, and socializing with friends.

I am from Denver, Iowa and am a Kinesiology and Health major planning to attend physical therapy school after graduation. I have a passion for sports medicine, Parkinson’s disease, and pediatrics - and strongly believe in exercise as a form of medicine to better the mind, body and soul. I am involved in research with the Physical Activity and Health Promotion Lab and also work with the "ExerCYse is Medicine" club, Pre-Physical Therapy club, Students Helping our Peers, and the student ministry "Salt." In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends and family, cheering on the Cyclones, running and being outside, as well as quality time with my dog, Trice.

Jessica Walter

I'm studying kinesiology and health at Iowa State University with an emphasis in pre-physical therapy. My goal is to be admitted into physical therapy school following graduation. I am keeping my options with physical therapy open, but I would love to work with patients who have ALS. I really enjoy spending my time rollerblading, cycling, and practicing meditation.

Amanda Rosich

I am studying Kinesiology and Health with a minor in psychology and an emphasis in pre-physical therapy. I am passionate about health promotion and educating others about kinesiology, and I am looking to pursue a career in either of those fields. Outside of school, I am involved in Cornerstone Church, Salt Company student ministry, Dance Marathon, and Kappa Delta Sorority. In my free time, I love to run, spend time outside, and watch all kinds of sports.
